Anyone want to bet $10 on Garcia7000 showing up for the tournament? Anyone seen him on the water this year? Another internet fisherman?

Sorry Garcia7000, I got your screen name confused. I was thinking of John Garland. He hasn't been spotted on the river since he won the first JRCC event this year.

OH, thats what you meant. I thought you were pointing out the fact that all these guys always say they are coming and about 75% never show up.

I'm the captain your vote don't count. lol Thinking about going sat. morning early till about noon. Have a new area I want to scout out. If we do get a extra hour we will have more time to fish after we ride all the way to the ghost fleet.

Mtracy, if you are going to go bowhunting, why don't you scout and pick a spot where it won't take 12 hours for a deer to walk past!!! LOL! [grin] I like to stay on my stand for about 45 minutes. 30minutes before daylight then 15 minutes til a deer walks by. Then in the evening I like 2 hours in my climber. 1.5 for taking a nap, then stand up and kill something the last 30 minutes.

Of course, I am still waiting to hit the lottery too.

    Dayton,

Ive done plenty of scouting.I am not really gonna stay on stand all day .I am going to sit till about 10-11 in the morning and then eat and all that .I will head out to the stand about 2pm till dark .I hope to be gutting and dragging if I see a decent BEAR.I have decided to go to Amherst instead of Amelia.
