Fatty's and Citation WAHOOOO on SUCCESSION!

Left the dock at 6:00AM and headed to the 650 line where the bite was the day before. Had Bill (TFM), Raddy (TFM), Ron (TFM) and Kevin (TFM). It was awesome having Ron on board who took the helm and I worked the pit. Set lines out just before the fleet and within minutes 6 go down. Get two to the boat. Troll somemore and get a couple. Things went well till it slowed down around 11:30ish. Alot of boats were strugling, but we had fish rolling around us several times. Shoot had a 10+ pound dolphin swimming 18's behind the Port Exhuast pipe for several minutes. Should have free jaffed it, but put a bait infront of it and it ran with it and spit the hook. When it slowed down put the planer out and got another tuna and then a 42# Citation Wahoo for Bill Mitchem. Called it a day just after 2:00ish.

Total:

10 for 22 Tuna
1 Wahoo and had three short bites on the planer bait
0 for 1 Gaffer

Lost two at the boat which one was a real big YFT. Snapped the leader on the planner rod behind the boat and one came unglued! O'yeah and Raddy had the ZINGG POWWW for the day. Poor guy tried to stop it with his thumb. FBI will not be able to prove it was him now.

Great day on the water with a fantastic crew. Going Monday again since the weather looks good.

Awesome report..... love fishing out of OI. We went Thursday..didn't do well on the YFT, went 2 for 3 on the Tuna....got 2 Citation Wahoo though....couple of bailer Dolphin to end the day. had 3 bite offs when the Wahoo were thick. That 650 line is magic man...I tried calling you on the radio Thursday but guess you weren't out there...Bob
