Report-Sandbridge 11/26

Fished the incoming tide from 6am to noon at the refuge. No action; not even a bite. I was throwing cut mullet on several different bottom rigs (with floats, w/o floats, drum rig). I tried to work the surf with soft plastics and some metal to no avail. The spec and pups were not home either.

The surf was not too rough; 6oz. held fine. The conditions were actually very good. I found a small cut from the blow and work the ends. The only thing missing were the fish.

Hopefully they will be there soon!

Took a look at Dam Neck today while working. A bunch of gulls on the beach and a few gannets swimming, but no active activity to speak. Water looked good and a few dolphin around the second bar.

Won't be long, but it would be nice to see the water temp drop just a little more as I think I saw it at 57 today at Bruce's Bait and Tackle.
