    Default Sandy River Resivor

I have been fishing Sandy River Resivor since last 4th of July, and have had lots of good fishing- Anyone familiar with the area- would like to know about winter patterns. I have been fishing deep shelfs in the coves on the other side of the bridge. Mostly 10 inch worms and crankbaits trolled along the drop offs. Where do the pickerel hide??

Pretty fish!!!! I've been too busy catering to fish, but hpe to get back there soon. What bait did you use? I have seen an older couple fishing with deep crankbaits pulling up big whiskers by the overpass. I have only fished past the bridge so far. Pretty water.

Hope to see ya out there- Tim

definetly a favorite. Wide variety of fish. Overwhelmed with shad last fished but lots of catfish. Always here about walleye but never taken the time to try. Always have luck on bass past the old washed out road about 200 on the left before the lake turns right. Always had good luck all year long, anytime of day. Also directly across from ramp berfore the overpass on the left where the lake was damned. Past overpass had good A.M. action mostly topwater not much else. Curious about your luck at sandy!
