Default Christmas and Crabbing-What did you get?

Ill be truthful, I didnt get anything crabbing related. I should have asked for 30 new Topless collapsables. Dah........................What was I thinking?
I did get some BPS gift cards though and I cant wait to get up there to use them.

Tell us all about what you got for Christmas. Crabbing related or not. :p
If you don't go, you won't know and you gotta have bait in the water!
I have terminal Crabiteis and there is no hope.

A dozen new crab rings to rig up over the winter. A lot of my traps seemed to go bad all at once last year so Santa was able to fix me up. Seems like a long time till summer now....

I got a type5 PFD. There have been times when I go out by myself and feel I should be wearing a PFD but don't put one on because they are too bulky!!!

I think I will wear this one without hestiation (At least my wife hopes so).

    Hope all enjoyed the holiday.

I got a BPS gift card too and a two handmade flat square orange dish measuring 1x2 inches. They had the shape of a crab indented on the inner part of the bowl. The small dish is used to hold old bay or butter. I was given two of them.

I'm with Dave on that one, as I age I realize that the shoreline is a long way away if'n I fell in and there was no one else in the boat to come get me since I usually work alone. I probably no longer have the stamina to make the swim to shore. and I don't want to find out the hard way, I have never fallen in but have had some close calls over the years that have made me think twice about wearing a pfd. I now wear an inflatable typeV when I go.

I got a New pair of "crabbin shoes" which is real good especially since my old ones seemed to have mysteriously dissappeared

I thought they were just gettin' "broken in" but someone else must have had other ideas about them

    Default Type 5 PFD

I often go alone and wear auto inflate SoSpenders. Becomes second nature after a couple of times and they are fairly comfortable to boot. Peace of mind factor for those on shore awaiting your return. I see more people wearing them every year. Good decision!
