I'm Bringing The Family Down This Weekend. Plan On Doing Some Surf Fishing. Can Anyone Help With A Fishing Report. Staying In South Nagshead Down By The Outlets.

Hey Murph,
Things here have been real slow. I am staying at MP12 and go over to the beach everyday and it looks lonley. Haven't seen any birds working at all, they have only been flying when kids are feeding them. Water has been dirty also after the wind on Tue. and Wed., it was clearing up some today and should inprove as the week goes on.
Drove down to OI this afternoon and only saw a sand shark caught, the fish cleaners at the fishing center looked lonely also. I know the last two years down here have been real good in the surf with stripers, speckle trout, and bluefish. Don't know what is wrong this year. More wind then in the previous years I guess.

Thanks For The Fishing Report Were Staying At Mp 19 On The Ocean Front Maybe Things Will Change For This Weekend.

Avalon Pier report page has it that there have been some quality stripers caught in the surf just south of the Duck pier. Can't verify but worth checking out. What I heard was that Wen and Thur of this week were very good.
