Recently I found some vacuum packed crab meat that was from June or July 2003 that was still good. Normally I don't try to save it that long. It was hidden among other stuff.
One year in the freezer when vacuum packed should still be very good eating.



Unfortunately I found 2 packs from 2005. :( Not sure how I missed them all this time but there they were. I use a vacuum bagger but it got me wondering how long folks tend to keep crab meat in the freezer?
