Lake Moomaw gives up another trophy!

Fished Moomaw on saturday. I was hoping to put my uncle on some nice perch, but it didn't go down as planned. I ended up catching two 14" perch instead. We both caught several largemouth, a few smallmouth, a few chain pickerel and two brown trout. I caught my first moomaw brown 20" and a citation chain pickerel right at 24". That's #6 toward master angler level 2. Just about all fish were caught in 20 ft of water or less. Water temp 45 deg, calm to no wind. put in at Coles point ramp for the first and last time. Fortney Branch ramp is closer and much nicer. Quite a few boats out saturday. Hope to see some of you there sometime.

I let that Pickerel go so someone could have fun catching it and you took it in for a citation.Now the next guy can't catch & release it.
