Sea Bass & Tile Fish 1/24

Went out on the Jil Carrie yesterday and had a graet time. This was my first trip like this. Our first stop right around 7 am was wide open from the start until we started catching a lot of dog fish. I had eight nice Sea Bass in my basket. Then we moved around some hit one spot and got slammed with blue fish. Hit a few more spots and caught more Sea Bass. Then we moved to a spot for Tile Fish and everyone was hooked up. No citation Tiles on the boat but a few citation Sea Bass were caught. I ended up with seven Tile Fish and fourteen Sea Bass





The weather was near perfect with a little wind in the afternoon and it got a little bumpy on the way back in but then calmed down. Captain Jim lived up to all the good stuff I have read about him and TJ the first mate is VERY!! helpful. I would reccomend this for anyone that wants to go fishing with two people that realy cares if thier customers catch fish. Everyone on the boat caught plenty of fish and seemed to have a great time.

I concur it was a great trip! I will definitely do it again, can’t wait to get my citation for my 5 lb 4 oz pool winning Sea Bass in the mail, LOL. Sorry for the bragging it was my first citation. Great trip though, I have already recommended it to three of my friends.

Thank you guys for fishing with us. It was a pleasure having you aboard. I'm headin' up to VA Beach for the TF Pizza Party but when I get back I'll try to post the pictures I took. It sure was a fun trip!
