    Default Christ. river, ramp, newport

Looking for some info on the newport ramp on christina river. Is there acces to the delaware river from this ramp for a 25' boat with cabin? I am pretty sure they have plenty water (dept) all the way. How many bridges and are there restrictions? Also, do they have plans to install docks along the restruarants along the river. Seems dumb to me not to take advantage of boaters that would visit the various businesses.
    Thanks for any comments.

There is a bridge right before the wilmington water front coming from the ramp which you will not fit under,so the answer is no,I can't fit under it in a 21ft cc with t-top,its to bad because there is plenty of water in the christina,as far as docks there are no plans for public docks, there used to be a small one behind kaunaville but thats been gone for a couple years, the ones there now are for the water taxi, and the marine police around the water front are a pain in as*,get checked almost ever time I go though there in my duck boat...

Are you familiar with the ramps at Governor Bacon Health Center, just before the Reedy Point Bridge?? Perhaps they are too far down the river for what you want??

up the creek has a boat ramp. very entertaing place also back in the day. there is a good ramp that was built using state funds in wilmington. contact your senator and rep and ask them why they let the city of wilmington shut it down.
