Windguru is put together for people who are looking for big wind and waves, like surfers. the more stars there are the bigger the waves the better it is for surfers. But for us, the more stars is bad.

Mike - I hear you loud and clear about watching trees, flags, etc.

    Add to the list:
Moon phase, humidity/dew, cloud formations, ANY tidal water is assessed for tidal phase, yard sales for tackle, Flowers/trees blooming in time with certain bites, bird migrations for the same reason. You get the idea....

You can rely on a ruff day w/ N 15-20. Know that 15-20 is a prediction. Knowing that the prediction is N 15-20 and there are 50' boats heading out of Rudee, I'd find another charter. No offense to the respectable 23', but 15-20 from the North + fishing in the ocean (not bay) means a wet, cold ride at best. Plus, you may not be able to make to a hot spot and will pay a chunk of money for a long, cold, wet boat ride. I'd look into buddying up with a TF'r and throwing in some $ for fuel, or looking into a more sea-worthy charter. Just my $0.02.

Well looks like they are forecasting west 15-20 for saturday now. I imagine thats not that bad especially if you fish tight to the beach.
