I AGREE 100%!!! But here's the difference. As recreational anglers... we can say.. "That's wrong. People shouldn't feel that way."

The commercial contingent can not and will not police themselves. They can't even say a convicted felon is wrong. Instead, they use him as the main speaker at a senate hearing. So, I'd suggest not throwing stones if you live in a glass house. The commercial waterman's undoing will be their inability to say "That's a bad practice and we shouldn't do it." "Hey, this guy has been convicted, maybe we should suspend his license?" Instead.. it's defend to the end no matter what. Well...that's goign to be the last nail in the coffin. The solidarity that held commercial waterman together will be their undoing.

As a rec angler, I am more than willing to police my peers. I'd call the cops on my best friend if I knew he was breaking the law... can you say the same?
