    thats good news chum. But now it has to go thought that whole other bunch. And their is where all the real problems will happen. Keep us posted on all the pork that others want to add to it.

    What amendments you might wonder?

    Why just one stripping out the matching fund requirement and adding two seats for the MSSA...How about that? Jack up everybodies license fees without even a meaningless promise for matching funds...Pretty special, eh?

    SB 1012 was scheit as originally drafted...

    It has now been amended to be a bigger piece of scheit...

    The only group standing alone opposing it was CCA...

    Hey Chum, just wanted to let you know that I saw your thread here on the "Conservation and Policy" forum.

    I wonder what MSSA's position is now that the matching funds part of the bill has been ammended away?

    Who knows...I thought I knew what Rich's stance on undersized crabs was when he testified on the House side, but he crossed the street and there must be something magic about the Senate, because lo and behold he had a different position...
