After several years of people raving about how better snoods are over a traditional line is, I have too (like many recently) have decided to build on for this season.
Which do you prefer and why. I currently don't have a puller (other than the ones god gave me ) so am not necessarily concerned about catching it up. The cost is nominal as compared to the time to rig it the wrong (other) way. So lets hear it!

I prefer 1/8" bungee. It's easier to work with. Like you said, the difference in price is negligible.
One advantage of 1/8" is that if it ever gets snagged on something in the boat, it will break before 3/16" bungee will and that may save having to replace an expensive part. I'd much rather have a snood break than have to replace an expensive fittting, lamp, etc.
I bought all the stuff to make up a snood line from Polecat last year and put it together over the winter and can’t wait to use it. I’m almost positive that it was 1/8” bungee and it was easy to put together it just took some time, but Jerry said it is worth it. Thanks Jerry

I've been running 3/8" on locktite for about 4 years, just re-built using 1/8" on softlay, seemed easier to build this time and looks very nice. I'd say the new system is going to work out much better.
