Now that my original thread has been hijacked I have another option. If I can get enough interest we could get the boat out of Snead's Ferry, NC for Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3. I would need 2 or 3 plus me to do it. 1 plus me makes Friday June 1 work too. Any interest now?

How about if we do Frying Pan Shoals out of Southport? If there is interest I will try to get a location change with those expressing interest. It would have to be with a different captain, but FPS is a world class location and I have indications the crew already signed on would be ameanable to the switch if we have the interest.

Sorry fishooter, just don't think m,y breath holds are up to your level yet. I'm comfortable up to maybe 30 feet max. Something I need to work on but would hate to work on it on a trip out spearing :(

Trip is full anyway, Ruh Roh. We might do a more shallow destination on FPS, sounds like. I'll post if we get out. Blowouts are always a possibility down there. Thaks for the interest. See you at the breakwater this season I hope.

When do you think you'll head to the Breakwater, Mark? How about the third weekend in May? Can you rent jetskis there? It'd be an easy way out the rocks.

My oldest son graduates from Washington College on the 20th of May, so that weekend is probably out. Maybe the second weekend of May or the last.
