Yesterday while the winds were down and on an out going current with water temp 52 to 53 degrees I fished the areas on this side of the bay south of Crisfield down to Watts Island and over to Tangier. I did alot of experimenting with some new lures and my ole standard flies. Fishing was very slow. However, the few fish we caught were really nice and healthy. The shallows have not warmed up yet. I hope that this weekend along with the beginning will really get it going. I had wanted to see some trout but no luck there.
Thanks for the report Dan. Water temps. are clearly down from the usual thanks to all that rain. Should be looking good with the weather over the next week.
