Mosquito Lagoon Report

finally got to fish in the Lagoon after trying for a couple years. I hooked up with Capt Bryan Pahmeier. He knows his business...



This fish was in a school and nosing into the bottom. After a few muffed opportunites and almost getting cut off by a boat load of guys throwing shrimp and mullet (and not getting a bite), I finally got this big boy to eat a crab fly of Bryans creation. It was pretty awesome. In case you cant tell I was pretty happy

I love fishing there. I don't know if you found the mosquitoes on shore or not. If you didn't then you missed the experience and didn't get why they called it mosquito lagoon. Having a guide there is extremely important unless you fish there alot. Expecially since the only deep water is the inter coastal water way.
