    Default My New Ride!!!

I finally pick up my Carolina Skiff 218DLV from Chatlee Boats in NC . The guys at Chatlee are awesome . I made a deal with them over the phone. I was able to add and removed options with no problems. They never failed to return my calls when they were busy. On top of all that, they blew away a closer dealer's price. I would highly recommend them. It was well worth the drive to me.

My wife and I drove down to NC on Monday night and crashed at a hotel. We headed to Chatlee first thing in the morning. When we got there, the boat was already in the water for our test ride. Man my Yammie F115 4 stroke purrs. It's so quite. The 80lb thrust Minn Kota also pushes the boat really well. All my electonics worked great. Thanks again Dale . We were only in their test lake, so I can't say much for the ride yet. It was really nice so far. I might go down to Benedict to break her in a little on Saturday. Has anyone been down there yet? See ya on the water.

Here she is ready for a test ride. You should have see the huge grin on my face .

Here she is before our departure.

Here's the view from the Captains seat.

Dave - Thanks. The trailer was very smooth. I will prawlie add disc brakes to it later.

cast-n-blast- I used Photobucket for the pics. If you are viewing this at work, your IT Department may be blocking photobucket.

Here's mine. A little smaller and stripped down but it's been great for crabbing.

    Nice ride Tommy

I know the last few weeks have been S-L-O-W to pass for you.......but the day has come and gone

Glad you are happy with it....Enjoy it. You will LOVE the fuel consumption while running trotline or trolling, it's amazing.
