Friday Flounder Report

I'm suprised that nobody has posted yet. I fished the ebb this morning from the small boat channel to the first island. Caught seven fish with only one right at 18.5 inches. At least three of the others would have been legal last year so I guess I did my part today for reducing the catch this year. The head boats were working the same areas. Craig Paige was there too so I knew I was in the right spot but just couldn't get the size. I didn't see Craig's boat put anything over the rail but I'm sure they did. You folks go catch em up this weekend I'm done.

Hey we fished blue fish rock and back river reef,Bite didnt turn on till it was time to leave My pops out did me again!!!!
anyway dippin some fillets in a hot oil bath!!

Fished Ft. Monroe and Hampton Bar area with my youngest son. Caught a few small flatties, croaker, and towed a 21' ft WA a 1/2 mile to Ft. Monroe ramp. The kid learned a lesson on lending a hand to a fellow fisherman/ boater. Out again on Sunday.
