    Default Wahooligan OI report 5/26-27

    Great weekend offshore with some friends, my kids and their pals. Started out in warm water in the fiberglass rodeo up north Saturday. Nice weedline, but you had to parallel park to get a piece of it. Got a Mako to the boat early and he executed a perfect self-release as soon as I touched the leader. Found some 66 degree water at the ledge late in the day and watched a couple of 11 year-olds wrestle a nice tuna to the boat. Went south on Sunday and found a private weedline on a sliver of cooler water on the south side of the point. Some nice gaffers, a wahoo bite off, and another 45 pound tuna trollng around a surface blitz. 36 miles to lots of smiles!
