OK 'til the skeeters showed up

Barry blew thru plenty stiff and roiled the waters nicely, of course it made the shallows literally look like the water was glowing aquamarine with the fine white sand suspended in the water, todayu the canal and off the point looked to be almost completely cleared up so I put out a chum block before going for dinner and came back to bail a basket of pinfish for bridge fishing as soon as my TLD50IILRSA gets here to go on the custom 130# rod I built for them thar Sharks and Groupers, saw about a half dozen good size 'cudas on the surface of the canal probably followed the chum in...so I put a 20 lb spinner out with a bait runner loaded with 25# and a pinfish under a float...set the bait runner and went back to bait fishing......well Mr Cuda hits and runs so fast seaward that when he stopped he backlashed the bait runner, I just reeled in over the backlash (professional overrun) and gaffed a 3-1/2 ft' er... put two more on the dock, changed rods, before the skeeters came in like Dauntless Dive Bombers on a kamikaze mission...not bad for a 2 hr stint. got about 30 Pinfish and 3 cudas roped off to use for shark bait...will chunk and vacuum freeze in the AM...now it's time for a cool Romulan Ale and a tour of the idiot box...

hey I see all the posts from the old stompin grounds where "I had 20 Reds and 10 Blacks " or "we Slayed 'em today"...me I can fish darn near anywhere down here...was hoping for a nice Tarpon tonight but only had one pinfish to work with "something " ATE the bottom off my wire basket during the night as well...I am NOT going swimming anywhere near my canal! and thats a fact jack!!!

I cleaned all my hardware when I came back from Vegas last week so they are all sparklin' and ready to roar...did the class out there so I can carry the next trip out, they make you qualify with each handgun you want to carry and issue permits to the serial # of the piece, but that is supposed to change in the next session of their legislature

And the Romulan Ale I brought back from Vegas is really good once you get past the fact "IT'S BLUE!"


Just think, 12,000 more + posts and I'll catch up with Big Jim....Hmmm 10 posts per day, 1,200 days = 3.2876 years Oh Hell he'll have 30,000 by then
