Northern Neck Reef

Anyone has a chance to fish the reef. Wondering if the fish have arrived yet. Last year thing were real slow out there.

Fished it two days last week before the windstorm blew in. First day, caught plenty of 18-20 inch stripers. Next day was s-l-o-w, but caught on 16-18 inch fish. Due to the wind and tide going in opposite directions, we were chumming from the back of the boat and drifting toward the front. Even caught the anchor line once.
Haven't been back since due to the weather.
The bluefish derby started today, so maybe a more recent report will be forthcoming.

"This reef is located 7 nautical miles E of the Great Wicomico River Light. The shape of the site is a parallelogram with the perimeter defined by loran lines."

fished the reef mon. and wend. with some sucess both days but nothing to brag about.
the fish are there but mon. no tide fished up the ancor rope all day and wend. rough, got pounded all day but did have tide .

Was there this afternoon (Fri.) with about 10-15 other boats. We marked some fish., but no one I saw had any action.
