    Default Rocky Point 6/9

Plans were to head down to the Magothy this morning but my dipper did not show and I ended up getting a late start. Decided to stay closer to home and give Rocky Point and a try. Ran 800' of trot line and 20 traps from 6:30 - 10:30 in 6-9' of water. Ended up with 3/4 of a bushel. Majority of crabs were pretty full and in the 6"-7" range. Also, caught a handful of small crabs, 1 big female, and 1 doubler. Gald to see there are some crabs to be caught close to home.

I hope they make it into the Gunpowder soon. Certainly would put a big dent in my gas bill if they do.

    Thanks for the report.

Capt'n Nick, keep in mind there was only 800 ft. of line along with the traps. However I do agree that is a long day.

6:30 - 10:30 a long day! What? I ususally don't quit until about 11:00. Heck...most people are just starting their day. May have been a slow day, but at least you were out on the water catching crabs.
