    Default Wanger Power Painters

Anyone have experience with one of these. Any comments good or bad would be appreciated. I'm considering painting my house and they would seem to really help move things along.

    Thanks

I bought the best wagner they make. Tried to use it twice and was completly discusted with it. One week later it was stolen from me, that is one tool I will not replace.

Wagners are junk, don't waste your money. I bought a pro force from DURON paint store and am very very satisfied with it. paid around $400, It is an entry level commercial grade unit. I have sprayed about 100 gal. of paint since purchase without so much as a hiccup.

Bought a Wagner and painted my garage door with it.......and everything around it. Stinking thing splatters paint everywhere. I'll never use it again.

I have a $300.00 one that won't work. Based on some of the comments above, does that tell you something???????

Try the Harborfreight HVLP spray painter. Around 80 bucks but occasionally on sale. Looks like a little vacuum cleaner with a spray gun. Have done several projects (shed and deck) with it and it's been great. Little overspray. I even sprayed over my head and only got a little on me.

Your better off renting a decent airless sprayer from a rental supply store.
Provided you have some experience using one.

The Wagner is a light use paint sprayer. Expect to have to water down latex paint to the viscosity of water to use it. It must be cleaned thoroughly, if you expect to use it more than once. The spray pattern is to small and uneven to be of any use. It does not pump enough volume of paint to be worth using. Save your $$$ and go to a paint store and rent a airless paint sprayer. Or use a brush and roller.
Wagner= junk,,, go with Titan or Graco
