Went out on a buddies 33" Hydra-Sport CC w/trip 250hp Yami's named "Tres Osprey". Lines in at 6:30am a little south of the Fingers. Hook up on the long rigger who pulles off right behind boat. 8:00am shotgun goes off on a 9" Pink Squid spreader bar and it's a 60lb yft in the box. Make another pass, and the short rigger with blue/white Islander gets another yft in the box. Two more knockdowns, and then nothing for 4 hrs.

Get a report about a bite at the 44 Fathom wreck, run down and find 4 boats bailing dolphin. We are looking for tuna, so we troll a little south and around 2:30pm it's a double hookup on the flat line and short rigger spreader bar. One snaps the leader right at the boat, but the other tuna gets the gaff. Back again over our mark, and a yft explodes on the shotgun Pink Squid bar, then a drifter bite on the naked flat line. Another pass gets another hookup on the shotgun Pink Squid bar. A couple more knockdowns, one pull off, and we call it a day.

Ride in is flat calm at 50 mph, and after a $660.00 fillup at the gas pump, it's fish cleaning time. Patrick, thanks for a great day on the water, Joey for the laughs, Brother Bob and Clay for the expert mating job.
