    Default oc flounder?

    going to oc 07.30.07 for two weeks, how is the flounder fishing? general reports?

    TONS OF FISH.......FEW KEEPERS. Kepper ratio's can be 5-1 or 30-1 depending on the day and location. I think the bigger fish have moved to deeper/cooler water for the most part. You probably catch bluefish and croaker as well. Maybe even a stray legal rock and trout too. Small sharks too. Pay attention to your tide/current and drift as well as your water clarity as flounder feed primarialy by sight.

    There are still plenty of nice flounder in OC. This is the time of the year that the bigger fish START moving in to feed on spot Try a 4" live spot fished on a Carolina rig in the deeper holes. Make sure you let the fish take it. There are some nice ones out there.
