This is good news indeed. Thanks for the word.

Good news! A new state chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) is forming in Delaware! Anglers who are concerned about the future of saltwater fishing in Delaware are joining together to be “CCA Delaware” in order to have a voice in determining what the future holds for the saltwater species we love.
Why CCA? They have a fish come first philosophy that recognizes the need to be stewards of the resource. Protecting recreational fishing opportunities and access is a priority too, but conservation comes first. I like to call it “Ask not what the fish can do for you; ask what you can do for the fish!”![]()
Also, the new chapter will be concerned with what is happening in Delaware. We will have help from the national organization but we will be working on what is best for Delaware fish, fishermen and women. We will no longer be considered a part of the Maryland chapters that are primarily dealing with the Chesapeake Bay and, oh yeah, Delaware.
We’d like you to consider joining us in this effort. The first step is to attend the first meeting in Milton, Delaware at the Fire Hall meeting room on August 28th at 7:00 PM. If you are interested, please contact Roy Parks at (302) 227-3031 or rgparks@verizon.net. All recreational anglers and conservation-minded people are welcome. For more information about CCA, check out Coastal Conservation Association (CCA).
Thanks for your interest and we hope to see you in Milton on August 28th!
