The translation programs/services like babelfish will not work a 100 percent since sentences in other languages are formulated in a different manner than in English.
So the outcome of such translations is always dubious, the only proper way to translate is to understand the foreign language you want to translate.

Now if I would be an US citizen I would have probably taken up Spanish as a second language since Mexico is bordering the US.
Since I am from the Netherlands I have limited my language skills to English and German.

I was trying trying to be cute. I like to rag on my brother who is a fly fisherman of large skills. We both have no problem eating an occasional fish we catch. No one has to tell me my Spanish stinks. My boys in Paraguay get a kick out of telling me I speak Spanish like Tarzan speaks English. Whatever, They're good hands and take great care of my hunting customers.
