Default Five trips in four days on the Backwaters

Thursday night did a 50/50 spin fly trip. And the Lgmouth liked the big Waldorf hair bugs..

Many more scarfed up the hair bug that night..

Friday night I had a code trip with a real long caster and he rocked. He could hit a pie plate from some incredible distances. It paid off as he scored over 12 LGMouth on hair bugs, flat frogs and sliders. He is most likely the second best caster I have had on board.

    Another one

    The take!!!!

18 plus fish that night for sure. And a real treat back from Turkey a service man on one week leave.

Saturday I had two trips out. Morning was a tourny tune up and we covered 20 miles of river and caught a few fish. Evening included two youngin's and a couple of first fish for them..

Sunday I got some sleep and did an evening trip with a real southern gent. I just enjoy that layed back talk and style of life.. His poisen was a hair bug and many fish fell for the laid back style of fly fishing. I am now using y'all a lot more in my daily talking.

Back to my desk so I can rest a bit till next weekend..

    AWWW Shucks, Mike!!!!

Looks like a couple of those fish were caught near the algae on the surface that we thought might be bad for the fish, etc.

    Hey Mike,
Nice photos. I've fished with that last guy (Tom) since I was a kid, spent many a day chasing bonefish with him with the flyrod. He said it was a great trip with a great guide.
    Regards,
    Doug
