Going Miles Fri-Sat. and workin in between too.

Here we go again.
Headed to the Miles for a combo crabbing/fishing trip while trying to get more maintenance done around the folks place.

Taking #1 son. He can get into the row boat and fish and crab in the creek while I tend to the chores.
But I will have traps splashed and check periodically while consuming a cool adult beverage. The proper amount of work and play is a must.

Tides lookin good for an early start Sat. Wont get down Fri until mid morn.

But, I usually get a nice start on the crabs that first 1/2 day. Ill let you know.

With this full moon there may be a lot of white bellies.

Hmmmm, I may hit the shallows on Fri afternoon for softies now that I think of it.

Got some done.

Crabbin was a tough pick Fri pm to Sat am. With doin a few things around the folks, and goin out after a few crabs in between, we managed a mixed bu of #1's and #2's.

5 doublers too. BIG JIMMIES on top though!

Cam Man (#! son Cameron) caught perch and spot in the canoe while I was preoccupied. Wish I took the Vid Cam.

Spot are everywhere in the Miles! Biggies too.


Crabs, well they are there. Many smalls. Good for Fall!

Ctpx baited with nx,spot and perch. Fri P.m. slow Sat A.M. upcoming tide better.

Caught crabs on early bite/best bite, my prsonnel preference. .

Otherwise, a slow pick.

Hope all that went out did well!



Brought quabs home and feasted.

BB was a Beotch. Boat races at KN!
