    Default Sweet Top Water Bite

Managed to get out for a few hours tonight (Wed) and had a great time. Caught 50 or so nice size blues and rockfish on the surface. Most fish around 18-22" (including the blues), largest was 26". I was amazed I didn't lose any flies to any blue fish (only using 15lb fluro tippett). I was fishing in 15-20 feet of water and the fly of choice was a white gurgler. Most fish were caught around the Bay Bridge. Right around 8:00pm the bite turned on and the water was boiling with fish - get out if you can!!!!

    TF....sweet!!!!...

I'v got an all day trip planned for tomorrow south of there. Hoping to find some surface action just north of Hoopers Island... Not sure if I will head to the western, or stay on the eastern side.... Will report.

The Eastern side (around Annapolis) has been more productive for bigger fish. Good luck.
