Lou thanks again for the ride and my first hoo. Can't wait to get him on the grill tonight!!!!
Eric
Left Rudee @ 0500 with Eric (speedjunkie), Eric (sawdust) and Patrick (Midwest transplant) onboard for what I expected to be a slow day (and it was). We decided to target Wahoo at the Fingers so we put the wire spread out and trolled from the tip of the 21 fthm. finger to the canyon and back to the 30 fthm. humps. Found the buoy we spotted last week when we caught the Blue Marlin, Art (Daddy’s Girl Two) was headed there as well, on the first pass the planer rod trips and we boat a 20 lb Wahoo. We make a few more passes picking up a couple small Mahi off a 2” x 12” that was floating in the area. Head back to the buoy and commence bailing, box a few more Mahi and call it a day @ 2:30.

Great day Lou!
Nice Hoo Pic.
hoo's are such a pretty fish andthat a great shot of that.
Great job guys. Targeting hoos is a great idea. That's one of the best eating fish. We had Waterman's Resturant fix us some Wahoo and Mahi Friday night. That was great eating.![]()

Good job Lou...you did better than most from what I can tell.
Tried to hail you on 79 from the cigar to see how things were going but must have been to much distance.

Keith, we we're wondering how you all were doing down there!!
