We left Wachapreague at 5:30A.M. heading for the tip of the Norfolk. The seas pushed us a little north and found the balls at 26850/41680. I picked some tuna red meat off Milton the night before and threw some chunks around the first ball; nobody home. The second ball was covered with growth, and the chunks did the trick. Dolphin. A steady flow of tuna meat kept the fish at the boat while we derifted off the ball. Put one dolphin on a spinning rig while Steve and Scott rigged their fly rods. Over a 2 hour period, we had a great time catching 8 fish (3lbs) on the fly. Tried the rest of the balls and the bouys inside the Norfolk; nobody home. Trolled around the Norfolk and a Greenstick boat nothing. The dophin on the fly made the day for us.

good job, we saw the green sticker too and never saw them boat a fish, I don't know where all those mahi were that everyone talked about but they were not on any lobster pots we checked, we did manage 1 yft though.
