There are winds of 15 to 20 knots forecast for Saturday. Be on the lookout for a Small Craft Advisory that day which would effect the tournament.

I've been watching the weather and it doesn't look good. I can fish Saturday so I'm sure it will blow. Sunday is my son's birthday. The wife is planning a luncheon so Sunday is out. Hope things change for Saturday.

LB,
I hope you get to fish the tournament on Saturday as I seem to recall this is one of your favorites. Good luck on the weather for Saturday.
Tom
what are the entry fees, prizes, etc.
Coastal, The Northern Neck Anglers Club tournaments are open to Club members and their registered guests. Members do not pay a fee to fish the tournaments. Guests pay a $10 fee.
The Awards are gift certificates from local tackle shops and other businesses that sponsor the events.
If you know a member, he or she could take you as a guest. If you are interested in the Club, go to our web site at Northern Neck Anglers Club to learn more about us.
You can get the web site address if you Bmail me.

Thanks for the info Dave! I'll be intouch!
Tom,
It's not looking any better. Yes this is my favorite tournament. Don't think it was meant to be. With work and the wind it's hard to fine a day to fish. Took off the whole week of July 4th and the wind blew 20 plus all week. We still have one more day for things to change.

As of Fridat at 7:30 AM the National Weather Service has placed a Small Craft Advisory in effect through noon on Saturday. If this SCA is not withdrawn, the NNAC Spanish Lessons Tournament will be cancelled for Saturday. Sunday appears to be a good fish day.
Now they have moved the SCA to tomorrow afternoon. If they keep on moving it up I might be able to fish the Spanish Lesson next weekend. The SCA advisery runs from Maryland to Va. Beach.
