Lynnhaven inlet, va 8/19

Managed 1 small flounder from my yak sunday morn. on the bright side i did catch it on my fly rod, so that was nice(brown #1 bendback). bait guys were doing well on flounder near the bridge, and on spot up river. it was nice to see so many other guys 'yak fishin(saw about 6 others).

If fuel prices stay like they are, you will see more yakers, I just might have to go borrow one of my FIL and go myself.

Curious if you know what fly's would be good to try for pup's and trout in the Lynnhaven or the Backriver?

i'm pretty new to this, but from what i understand bendbacks and clousers and maybe crab/shrimp patterns for the pups and clousers and minnow immitations for the trout. if you get out, please post as to how you did...i will be back down for labor day and am hoping to get some more fish on the fly.
