Am looking for a source(near VB.) for some "COW" manure to add to my veg/flower garden spaces.... I hear "Chicken" stuff is good also; just a bit high in certain nutrients. Might burn grasses, and some flowers... THANX,--BOB

I can't help you with a source, but I can tell you cow manure is pretty hot too. Nothing like from a chicken, but I wouldn't use it directly on plants.
If you want to use it directly, go for horse manure. Just call around to some of the horse stables and they'll probably have all you want for the taking.

I also compost stuff and keep moving the bin (chicken wire fence area) around the garden to refresh the soil under the bin. Ground bees built a nest in it this year.
Chic. manure is great just mix it up good. Horse manure comes with lots of seeds/weeds= lots of work later.
Leaves are the key, collet a pile in the fall, the more the better, and keep it wet even in the center of the mount and mix it as much as can and in less than a year you'll have the back bone of your garden.
