Ronnie,
Here in Va. you better be eating the apple when in a bow stand. We are not allowed to bait wildlife when hunting. Matter if fact we can' t feed wildlife from Sept. 1 until Jan. 1. No exceptions. Good luck on your season.

the club next to us last year a hunter had eaten a apple and trough the core down from stand, game police came and gave he a ticket for baiting![]()
retired and love to fish and hunt
Guess if you eat an apple at the stand you better eat core and all. Sounds like a chicken S??t ticket to me. Then there was a guy that shot a deer which fell in water. He dragged the deer out of the water before tagging. Game warden watched and wrote him a ticket for not tagging at place of kill.

The joys of Maryland, baiting is legal on private property.
Hey Ronnie, I got a better offer for you from a safe bowhunter. How about if I just sit next to the apple trees and wait for the deer to come to them, rather than taking the apples to the deer.
I'll even make you some bologna.
