Braid to terminal tackle knot?

The Palamar is by far the best knot.You can also tie a double palamar.After you go through the hook with the double line,make 2 loops instead of 1 before looping around the hook.I quit tying clinch knots after losing quite a few Bluefin tuna to them.Nothing like reeling in a pigtail tagg end after losing a nice Tuna.A clinch knot is a 50% knot and a palamar is a 95%.

i'd use the Uni Knot

a uni hands down when it comes to braid. a solid 7 twists is the key for me. as for slippage if im worried about the know slipping just take the excess tag go above the knot and do two or three halfhitches to add a second set, depending on the braid diameter you wont get too much of an increase in the knot size
