Fishing out of the OC. Yellowfin day in and day out, green. The green machine behind a bird on the shotgun and the green machine spreader bars are MY yft killers. Green or blue/white witches over select hoos complement the rest of the spread and pack as much as you can out there, I routinely troll 14 rods. Bluefin from 80-200#, even simpler. Blue/white illander on sunny days, green/black illander overcast or early, both with the biggest horse you can find, and with the line seriously dumped halfway off 3 80 wides, one down the middle off the bridge and 2 on each long rigger off the bridge with the drags set nice and easy and you really only need 3 rods (The rest just are just 4 show). Even with that much line out, you can back right down on these fish and kill em in 15-30 minutes with 80's. Longfin, same as the yft but pack more plastic and really load up the spread. Out of all the boxes and boxes of crap I own, and all the crap I've tried, it always comes back to these spreads. REALLY simple in theory, just gotta make em look good.
