Not much to report, but took my 10 month old Chocolate Lab on her first hunt this afternoon. They cut the corn field Monday and it was loaded with doves this afternoon. However, since I was the only one there, all they'd do was lite in the opposite end of the field. Did get some shots off at some long distance ones, mainly just to blow the cobwebs out the barrel. Well, my girl did good, didn't break on the shot and gave me dirty looks when nothing fell out the sky. I couldn't help but laugh as I thought I could read her mind and she was saying "Hey, I'm here to do my part, do yours". All in all I was happy with her responses.
