Ben , after your recent accomplishments why do need advice on inshore fishing? You are the new Wachapreage legend. You now have the ability to communicate to Neptune himself and find out where the fish are.
I have a group including my Dad to take fishing this coming Monday. So far the offshore forcast looks like a howler. If I am relegated to the unfamiliar position of fishing inside or not-far-off what would you recommend I target and how? I just want to show everyone a good time :)

Come on you're laying it on a bit thick Aqua - no need your future ho spot is secure ;)
Ben there are several wrecks inshore out to 20 miles , out at # 10 there are all kinds of things from ships , jeeps , trolly cars etc . flounder , triggers & seabass can be found there . for rigs use 6 to 8 oz weight on three way swivel & 2 or 3/0 hook squid strip or flounder belly strip for bait . if you get down on sunday give me a call 787-4214

Ben:
Some guys nailed the flounder at a nearshore wreck last weekend. Also, the number 10 buoy straight out of Wach Inlet.
Take Care,
Joe
Is there any good fishing around the channels and just inside the inlet?
Oh yeah and I respect if you don't want to post your inshore hotspots :) But - if you're willing to help a fellow wachafleet-er out, a bmail would be mucho appreciated!
Ben
from the inlet down towards the old coast guard station along the channel edge should be good . also from the red can at the tip of ceder island north towards the next green marker should also be hot this time of year .
