Do a poor mans patent before dealing with anyone just to cover you arse. It does have some merit in certain situations and inexspensive. Put all the info you have in a envelope or box ie pictures /drawings/specs/schematics ect. and mail it to yourself certified and do not open it . Sealed it proves its your idea and brain child when it needs to be opened for proof even years down the line. Good Luck
