    Default MM Spot

Wife and I went out to MM to look for spot and maybe some stripers. Got out to area about 0930, overcast, some fog, fleet in position> We anchored on east side of channel. Only had fishbites and other artificials. No one seemed to be catching except for a fellow near us who was pulling in spot regularly, we guessed he had bloodworms. He left after we watched him for 1/2 hour; he pulled up next to us and aasked if we wanted his unused bloodworms, we thanked him and then the action started, we kept 40 spot. Some did end up hitting the Berkley and the Fishbite, but most were on real bloodworms. If that gentleman happens to read this thanks again

I saw about 200 and some boats over there...I was out there between 1130--1pm then had to haul butt in to make it to work in time...How big were the spot....?
I got my limit of striper for 2 riders and myself with the larger ones starting to hit about 1pm....Got a ton of school size every pass over the tubes....trolling wire line with chartruase 6in grubs and bucktails.....nice day except for that floatilla of a dozen power cruisers that ran right thru the middle of the all the anchored boats and the rest of the fleet.....I sometimes wounder where they get their sense from....but I could have just threw a 16 ounce sinkewr up side their head.....dam.....where's my anger management pills at.....LOL.........
Glad you got a mess of fish......next time get ya some night crawlers form walmart....
they come in 2 dozen boxes now and only cost 2-3 dollars....they work real well.....

Spot were from 1/2 to 3/4 lb, nice size, a couple were larger but I did not get to weigh them as my wife cleaned them too quickly...

I thought nightcrawlers would shrivel up very quickly in the salt water?
