Floundering from bad to good

Left Taylors Landing with David, Al and Josh at 7:30 a.m. this morning going to Bouy 16.
Fished that area for 5 hours without a single Flounder. Decided to go to Thimble Shoals and got the same results. Last effort was live baiting around the first island and within two hours we caught six quality Flounder between 20 and 23-1/2" long. Lately its been pretty rough going but with the change of winds maybe it will start really turning on.

We chunked for stripers early am Saturday and picked up one 6lb flounder on chunk bati along with our limit of nice stripers by 10 am. We then changed tactics for flounder only on the Hampton Bar & 3 Sisters and had 3-4 bites with no hook ups on live mullet, and did not see another keeper for the rest of the day.

Congrats Louis on figuring them out. We messed around saturday but only managed a couple of throw backs. We did manage some decent size spot and croaker around the mouth of Mobjack Bay. Thanks for the report.
