    Default fishing in GA

I went fishing for the first time in the Chattahoochee and caught my first rainbow trout about 8", and my first brown trout about 12". I just drifted along in my kayak and tied off to a log along the bank at times. I was using a brown 1/16 oz roostertail.
Has anyone else fished the River on here? I was fishing just above the 141 bridge. I saw a few others out there in boats, kayaks and floats.

I live in Virginia Beach (and grew up at the same) but lived in Forsyth Co. for about 5 years in my early 30's. I drove across that bridge 2 times a day five days a week for several years. I always saw lots of people fishing the area that your are indicating. I think that they are stocked fish, but heard many times that the fishing was fun. I never did it personally. Also heard that it was a good place (the park) to score a citation trouser trout if that was you're liking. Even saw it on Action News a few times. Do y'all drill with mud or air down there?
