In the time it takes to go to the Pax and back, a lot of GP crabs can be caught. You can sleep later and $ave on gas and toll$.

Not really a difficult decision to make.

I haven't heard anything positive coming out of the GP the past few days. I think that last cold front finished them off for the year in the GP. Time to head south.

If you are just lookin for a couple dozen, I would stay close to home, especially when considering 3 hours round trip. If time and money were no object, I'd go to the Pax.

Ron, this is very good advice from mike

I've been on the Pax once this week and several times last week and it's nothing to write home about...I'll be out there again tomorrow only because it's the best "close" water for me.....can you get some crabs at the pax nice ones too... but 3hrs worth of driving

I'm sure you can find some closer water that would fit the bill.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
