    Default chester river 10-17

    crabbed the chester just out of the narrows and ended the day with a bushel of jumbo males and a bushel of females. lost about a half bushel because they were dropping off.crabs didnt start really hitting until 11,o,clock.

    chester river produced an nice bushel (48 crabs) all big heavy males, for us.

    we crabbed in about 9 foot to 15 foot of water...

    i had some nice ones wednesday. going to give it a try on saturday and sunday. crabs are loaded with meat. guys have been doing better using clam though.

    clams? really.... its been chicken necks for us, since i can remember... with an occasional chicken head through in or some fish heads... :)

    they are using razor clams in mesh bags and the crabs just love them

    Default Chester

    Was out in the Chester 2 Mondays ago, did good, solid bushel in deep water, just wondering if they are still biting. There was lots of Commericial crabbers out that day, anyone still catching?
