How long a grub? WHo makes this color? I have used the "texas chicken" colored mirror lure over the years but not a twister tail or grub in that color. I own every other freakin color size and shape of soft plastics. I may as well get this one too.

You guys having luck with a grub under a popping cork also surprises me. I have seen some guys up here using the new Gulp shrim under popping corks with some success but I have never done diddly with the popping corks north of Georgia. WOuld you mind describing the retrive thats been working or are you just hanging them back in the current and popping them once every so often?

    Thanks

Shhh..... Grub, there ain't no specks around New Point, or Pups neither!! And they Most Definitely aren't hitting Electric Chickens on an incoming tide. There were about 4 specks hanging around there last week, but they left for Carolina on Thursday. I took a survey. You tomorrow ?

Hey Im right across from you. I havent done any fishin this week but was nailing them on the incoming last week. I also like chartruese woodpecker. 4" seashad by bass assasin, Oh yea lets not forget the calacasue brew. That one was the ticket last week. up the mob I saw some guys slow trolling corks with mirror lures suspended under them. they were using electric motor. Don't know but thats how they did it. I have caught them under a popping cork with bassassins on the hook while drifting, but there all dinks. Ive drifted live bait ,spot, fingermullet, and minnows. Only got one fish on spot.

    Default Speck Report:

I guess that original post with the fishing report in the New Point area will attract the Speck fisherman like a magnet....

I'll be glad to pass the word on for you.........
