I think it is in kent County. A buddy of mine booked some hunts there. He told me that it was mostly goose fields and impoundments that were loaded with ducks. He invited me to go with him, but three hundred and a four hour drive would make me question whether or not it would be worth it.

It's definitely in Kent Co, MD. Pricey, yes. High quality, yes. Worth it? Depends on you, and how much of your hunting budget $300 represents. If you're going to spend $300 on one day of good hunting (not that anything is "gauranteed", of course) vs. two days somewhere mediocre for $150/day, I'd say go to Quakerneck.

If you can get a share in a club for that amount and will hunt it once a week all year long, do that......... or do what the rest of us would do: go to Quakerneck, go to the other place, too AND join the club- what's a hunting budget????????

Quakerneck is a first rate operation that is totally on private land owned and managed by Quakerneck. I am 98% sure that it is all on wild bords; they typically control a minimum of 35% of the wild mallards in the State of Maryland; in addition to hosting the a huge percentage of the AP Canada Goose population.

It is a well run operation, and if the ducks are flying, they are all flying towards one of Quakerneck's fields... we hunt in the areas around & near Quakerneck, and they definitely have some ducks!

It's a great operation but your #s are ridiculous. Maybe they have 35% of the wild mallards in Kent Co on a given day but "Control 35% of of the wild mallards in the State of Maryland" . I don't buy it.

That said, they are one of the best.

Actually, those mallard numbers are from the DNR a year or two ago... the extent of their holdings is immense, and the land is farmed with waterfowl in mind. The flight from the refuge at Eastern Neck Island, up the river and into Quakerneck's fields is something to see...
