OC report 10/20-10/21

Fished the Rocktoberfest 24 hour tourny out of Bahia Marina. My parents, my fiance, my bro-in-law, my nephew, and myself. Fished for tog saturday from 4 till dark and only managed 2 keepers and some throwbacks, tide was wrong and the water was full of weeds. Went out around 9 to the bridge to try for some stripers, tide was perfect and the water was absolutely loaded with bunker. Couln't get a bite using live spot, it looked perfect just nobody home. Got a late start sunday morning and was anchored up by 9:30. Started nailing tog and killed them till the tide changed at about 1:30 and the weeds came back. My bro-in-law Steven managed a real fat 21.5" tog and my dad and I each pulled hooks on ones that were much larger. The one my dad had actually completely straightened out his hook. My fiance landed a 4.5# triggerfish and my young nephew did awesome with a couple of tog up to 19". I think there were 60 some boats and Steven's tog ended up weighing 5.8#'s and was good enough for first place and $815.00. I'll put up some pictures as soon as someone sends them to me. I'm tired as all get out and when I get out of work I've got to clean the 22 tog in the cooler on my back porch, can't wait

yeah, I don't know how many but there were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place fish. 1st place was only 11 something pounds.
